August 23 - Yoga, Surfing, Breathwork, medicine songs circle, ecstatic dance, dinner, Dj Set.
I am welcoming all Yogis and friends to come to “Monte Ha Mar” on August 23rd. Monte Há Mar is a 2.3 Acres reforested and off the grid property located between Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. This event is to celebrate a lifestyle of Yoga, Surfing, Sustainability, Music, Heath, Healing, Knowledge, Creativity and Community. How blessed are we to be here in SW Portugal and be able to gather as free humans in peace and harmony?! Here is how the day is planed. You can take part on any of the activities.
7:30 - Ashtanga Yoga Led class at “Monte Há Mar”
I will be teaching a Traditional Ashtanga Yoga led Class with a sound journey by Lucia. This is the same class we taught at Boom Festival.
9:00 - Breathwork - Tom Woodfin will be leading a Breathwork session during Savasana.
What to bring: Yoga Mat, light cloth for covering for Breathwork and Savasana in case there are flies.
Fruits (melon and watermelon) and coffee will be available for after class.
This class is by Dination if you want and the procedures will go towards the building of the new Yoga Shala.
10:00/30 - Círculo de cânticos sagrados e música medicina com João Beles at the beach. João Beles is my good friend from the 90’s. We met while practicing Tai Chi. He is one of the most respected plants specialist in Portugal.
10:00/30 - Surfing class with Arjuna (my son). If you want to learn surfing do it with a “Local.” Arjuna has been surfing since he is 4. The kid was born on a surfboard. He is a truth son of the land and the sea. He is starting his surfing coaching career. Contact him directly to book a session.
17:00 - “A Main Shift Towards Aquarian Age.” With Carmen Maraschin. Carmen is a dear friend and very knowledgeable woman. She has played a crucial role on my life. She got me into Yoga in 1995. Her talk on this new era is incredible. There will be space for questions and answers. 12€ donation.
19:00 - Dinner
19:00 - Swaby Sound, Dub and Reggae. With local brother and fellow Permaculture and Agro-forestry freak.
20:00 - Ecstatic Dance with Luzia. My prodigy and favorite DJ in the World. Lucia studied Chello at the Conservatory for over 10 years and is studying sound engineering and Dj.
21:30 - Dj set*** with Henriq_ZB has been a huge part of this community. He has played dozen of times during Yoga, Surf & Sun. We have met in 2007 on the first PDC organizes by Boom Festival’s crew. From that seed planted, many of us shifted to an off the grid living. Many of the trees growing at Monte Há Mar were donated by him.
***Party will carry on over midnight. we may have to lower the volume a bit but the idea is to enjoy the night.

Can I stay over night? If you come from far you can bring a tent and camp. Check out is on the 24th at noon. There are showers and compost toilets. 10€ fee for staying overnight.
Ticket Price for sunset party and dinner 35€. Other activities payed separately.
